An old poem...

The love letters that he wrote me
And never planned to send...
Echo through the darkness
Make me feel loved again.

He was jealous of a dead man,
Who found an end to the pain.
He was jealous of a dead man,
Whose words washed away with the rain.

The first kiss that he gave me
Took away my breath and fears.
The first time that he held me
All my worries dried with tears.

He was jealous of a dead man,
Who had a calming, wishful tone.
He was jealous of a dead man,
Whose reflection was his own...
